Crop enterprises of Prioskolie Group of Companies are finishing harvesting of late grain crops and autumn sowing. Ruslan Sharko, CEO of Krasnoyaruzhskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya LLC, sums up the main results of the crop year.

- The weather in July was favourable for proper development of plants and maturing of soybeans. Taking into account the conditions this year, the soybean crop was pretty good. Gross output for Krasnoyaruzhskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya LLC amounted to 79,420 tons, with average crop yield of 25% per ha. This value exceeds those achieved by other agricultural enterprises of the region and is the third greatest value in 12 years of production of this crop.

For sunflower, last year's record was broken and the best result in the company's history was achieved. For 2020, we have scheduled a replacement of grain hybrids and a transfer from domestic to foreign high-yielding hybrids with a greater yield potential, which will allow us to improve the results for this crop.

Works on delivery and application of organics, main soil preparation, plowing, subsurface loosening and disk plowing were performed simultaneously with harvesting of late grain crops.

In total, 40,073 ha of land were put under the 2020 yield, including 34,680 ha for Krasnoyaruzhskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya LLC and 5,393 ha for Novooskolskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya LLC.
