The Moscow International Education Fair is an annual open forum and the country's largest exhibition of new education technologies. The event covers all areas of education, from pre-school education to higher education, career advice and the running of student research clubs, and features presentations by experts from all over the world while also serving as a launch pad for new projects. This year the global fair was held April 10 through April 13 at the Russian National Exhibition Center and comprised over 400 expositions dedicated to innovative technologies in education.

On the first day of the fair it was visited by Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. As an industrial partner the delegation included A. Balanovsky, CEO of ZAO Zavod Premiksov No. 1. The Belgorod information booth showcased our country's existing research and development potential as well as the key areas of research to be pursued at the new research and education center being set up there. It is expected that once the results of this research are introduced in production a number of key issues will have been resolved that have so far stumped the agrarian science.

The topic of research and education centers that meet international standards was one of the most discussed issues at several of the venues of the international forum. The fair featured a round table during which experts shared their opinions on the principles and rules for selecting research and education centers, the key tasks such centers should perform and success criteria, the options for raising finance and ways to make research and education centers more attractive for young researchers.
