The results of the 3rd regional championship Young Professionals, which is traditionally held for students of vocational schools and colleges of the region as part of World Skills Russia, were announced in Belgorod. The main goals of the championship is to promote the development of professional competencies and to raise the prestige of blue collar occupations.

This year the championship went on for five days at 16 venues and in 20 nominations. It counted over 300 students from 36 colleges and vocational schools among the competitors with over 150 experts from Orenburg, Khabarovsk, Tambov, Kursk, Moscow Oblast and the Republic of Tatarstan assessing them.

The Novy Oskol Agricultural College (the main supplier of new hires for AO Prioskolie) was the first-time host of contests in a new nomination titled Entrepreneurship while also hosting the contest in the Operation of Agricultural Machines for the third year in a row. The Novy Oskol Agricultural College was represented by Irina Titova, a 4th year student majoring in Production and Processing of Agricultural Products and Lina Shevencko, a 3rd year student majoring in Operations in Logistics. During the championship the college's team demonstrated outstanding skills in business plan development, financial documentation and launching a real startup. In the end the students from Novy Oskol finished 2nd in the championship.

10 contestants from various vocational schools in Belgorod region competed for the first place in the nomination Operation of Agricultural Machines. Expensive equipment for the contest was provided by AO Prioskolie and ZAO Krasnoyaruzskaya Grain Company. All the contestants demonstrated outstanding knowledge and practical skills. The competition was fierce but in the end first place went to Anton Natalchenko, Novy Oskol Agricultural College student. Anton is a 4th year student majoring in Mechanization of Agriculture. He has been doing his internship and thesis research at AO Prioskolie.

The award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the regional championship was held at the Belgorod Institute of Arts and Culture. Our company supplied prizes and gifts for all the participants that competed in Entrepreneurship and Operation of Agricultural Machines.
