The unique product unrivaled throughout the world was developed by the lead specialists of Zavod Premiksov No. 1 CJSC and scientists of Kurchatov Institute, National Research Centre – State Research Institute of Genetics. The continuous improvement of the technology allowed the plant included in Prioskolie group of companies to be the first to present the market with L-lysine sulphate 75%! This new form of highly concentrated product with stable qualitative properties and content of free lysine (on anhydrous basis) is not less than 59%!

The technological breakthrough allowed the enterprise to increase the conversion of carbohydrate raw materials to lysine by 50%. The duration of lysine biosynthesis in the course of fermentation was reduced by two hours which makes it possible to perform 20 additional fermentations per year. On a gross weight basis it amounts to approximately 3000 tons of lysine per year! The enterprise also develops a new promising direction – the application of liquid forms of lysine and their implementation into the feed production.

In order to confirm the quality and safety of the new L-lysine sulphate 75% and the new form of liquid lysine concentrate some studies were carried out in the All-Russian Research and Technology Institute of Poultry Farming, Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Science.

The increase of the concentration of main substance (L-lysine) in the commercial form of the product has a number of advantages. It allows the plant to reduce energy, raw materials and labour costs of production. The costs of storage and transportation of the products are also reduced for the consumers. In addition, the increase of the content of main substance in L-lysine sulphate can reduce its content in the feed formula providing thereby the ability to use other necessary components.
