On December 4 Belgorod State Agricultural University named after V. Gorin celebrated another anniversary. As a part of festive events Museum of Science and microbiological laboratory were opened and ceremonial meeting of Academic Board took place in the Maisky Settlement Palace of Culture.

The representatives of the Belgorod Region Administration, rectors of leading agricultural higher educational institutions of Russia, V.Ya. Gorin award winners, heads of the largest regional agricultural holding companies, foreign partners, teachers, students and veterans of the University were invited to be the guests of the event.

A long-term Programme of Higher Educational Institution Development for 2016-2025 was unanimously adopted at the meeting of the Academic Board. The University Day also included the ceremony of presentation of honorary awards to the best representatives of agricultural science and industry who made a substantial contribution to the development of educational, pedagogic and economic activity of the University. By the decision of the Academic Board A.G. Titovsky, the Candidate of Science (Agriculture), the Director General of Krasnoyaruzhskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya (Krasnaya Yaruga Crops Company), CJSC, was awarded the title of honorary doctor of Belgorod State Agricultural University named after V. Gorin.
