6th International Pokrov Fair has ended in Tambov. Manufacturers of agricultural products, handworkers and folk craftsmen of Tambov Region and other areas of the Russian Federation and foreign countries took part in it.

The fair has been best remembered by Tambov citizens and visitors for its lavish and merry character and active trade. The grocery pavilions offered almost any type of foodstuff. The products of Inzhavinskaya Ptitsefabrika (Inzhavino Poultry Factory), CJSC (meat and sausage delicacies of Tambovsky Broiler trademark) has been in great demand with the buyers. Everyone interested could taste and buy various products made of broiler chicken meat at the manufacturer’s prices.

Tambov amateur-talent groups performing at the stage created an atmosphere of joy. 380 kg of potato (equal to the number of the regional center city anniversary) have been boiled in a huge pot as a part of traditional Tambov Potato Feast. But the performance of Nadezhda Babkina, the People's Artist of Russia and her vocal group "Russian Song" has become the main surprise for all visitors of the Pokrov Fair.
