The first industrial batch of microbiologically synthesized L-lysine sulphate, an amino-acid food additive of was produced by the Center of Innovative Biotechnologies, Zavod Premiksov No. 1 (Premix Plant No. 1), CJSC in May 2015.

The company’s products are steadily winning the Russian market: the supplies geography expanded beyond the Belgorod Region and reached the North-Western Federal District. The plant's specialists continue upgrading the innovative high-technology production process.

The experience of L-lysine sulphate practical application showed that lysine sulphate has a higher food efficiency than lysine monohydrochloride: if take into account bioavailability, relative biological value, digestibility coefficient, etc.

The planned quality level (production of 60% L-lysine sulphate with the basic substance content min. 45%) was achieved. However, due to the development of the agricultural sector products with higher concentration are launched to the world amino-acids market. To remain competitive the plant had to switch to production of 65% L-lysine sulphate with the basic substance content (L-lysine) min 51%.

According to the nutrition experts, such content of the substance in the finished product is optimal for the ration formulation.

The company offers the market competitive Russian product. Its safety for people and animals is ensured with application of a highly productive nonpathogenic producing strain.
