The majority of import substitution projects are nowadays implemented in the agricultural field of the Region. A unique lysine production plant constructed on the base of Zavod Premiksov No. 1 (Premix Plant No. 1), CJSC by Prioskolye has been recently put into operation. The company's representatives reported on their achievements and demonstrated samples of manufactured products during the fair. Construction of new facilities for conditioning, preparation and storage of cereal and oilseed in Krasnoyaruzhskaya Zernovaya Kompaniya (Krasnaya Yaruga Crops Company), CJSC is one of the most important projects. As an illustration of import substitution program the company exhibited samples of commercial batches of seeds of different agricultural crops: winter wheat, soy bean, corn hybrids, annual and perennial grasses. It is scheduled to complete projects totaling to more than 15 bln roubles by the end of the year.

- Belgorod agricultural companies successfully use the chance given to launch the market and substitute the imported products from the sanction list with their own products, said the Governor of the Region during the report discussion. However, said the head of the Region, - the main priority nowadays is not a quantitative index of food supply security, - as the national producers of the most products have already achieved it. Today Russian government raises an issue of absolute ecological and consumer safety of agricultural and food products for the first time.

In the Governor's opinion, Belgorod companies shall become an example of diligent manufacturers of high-quality products.
