As usual there were a lot of competitive categories. The jury appraised confectionary skills, specialties for banquets, bakery, desserts, set menu courses, etc.

Prioskolye, CJSC, had frequently participated and won prizes at such contests and this time the company was expected to submit new variations of poultry dishes. And surely they did. But its main stake was placed on the other aspect. For the first time the food company decided to take part in the nomination “The Traditional Old Cuisine" in the category “Beverages”! Such idea had appeared a few days before the start of the show contest. Eventually the "vzvar" (stewed fruit with honey and spices) from the dried fruits and home-brewed "kvas" (fermented beverage made from bread) with mint made by ancient recipes were submitted to the jury.

Within the show contest there were master classes for making dough for pizza, artistic cutting of vegetables and fruits, cooking of seafood and cocktails.

The final ceremony was very colourful. Prioskolye, CJSC, catering subdivision (managed by I.G.Mitko), was awarded a Certificate of the Belgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the active participation in the IХ regional show contest of public catering companies. Moreover, the company won one of the main prizes – the statuette and the Winner's Certificate in the nomination “The Traditional Old Cuisine" in “Beverages” category.
