Everyone Had Fun
The guests gave Snegurochka their presents – head-dresses in folk style of the regions of Russia from where these fairy-tale characters came, as well as flowers and tasty treats. In acknowledgment of warm greetings Snegurochka gave each of the characters snowdrops which she had grown for her birthday.
This year the festive program for the first time included "A race in ko-ko-ko-koshniks" (kokoshnik - a traditional Russian women's head-dress, syllables "ko-ko-ko" imitate the clucking of a hen)) sponsored by Prioskolye-Kostroma, LLC. Children and adults, mothers and fathers, boys and girls – everyone put a kokoshnik on and got ready for race. At the finish the winners and prize takers of the race were granted awards and gifts from the sponsor.
