Facing the Future with Optimism

December, 20

The expiring year 2013 was rather challenging for the branch. Enforcement of the WTO rules in the Russian Federation caused the increase of import of all types of meat and finished products. Many processing companies, which used poultry meat as a raw material, switched to the pork, which became cheaper and more available. As a result, poultry meat wholesale prices decreased. On the one hand, the price decreased, but on the other hand, production costs increased. In simple words it means that income decreased, expenses increased.

About 30 poultry production companies filed for bankruptcy this year. In this scenario, the companies have almost no strength reserve, and poultry industry, in general, has no guarantees of the achieved results maintaining.

It is not easy for Prioskolye to remain the leader of the branch. Nevertheless, we do our best to make our products competitive. Not a single previously declared program has been scrapped. All social payments remain unchanged. All obligations to business partners and employees of the company are performed in due time and in full.

We are facing the future with optimism. Our general task in the incoming 2014 year will be to take reasonable decisions, maintain what has been achieved and take a new step ahead.
